xelsabado, I asked poea about the polo and what group of workers need it...and I was told na live-in caregiver lang and nagangailangan nyan.
Needless worry. Di ba fca ka? Did your agency tell you that? Clarify with them and poea. The process is after you have your pdos, get your exit clearance or OEC from poea. Of course bring your papers na kailangan. Then go! Bon voyage & good luck! You know, sometimes it is better kung ikaw ang nag paprocess ng papers mo so you will know everything. Minsan parang gimmick din ng agency.

NOC 8253 ako pro kylangan ko rin mag POLO sabi ng agency ko....protection rin kasi sa mga pinoy workers ang POLO....

hello po direct hiring po ako and may work permit visa na.. need ko kumuha ng POLO kso napaatras ang employer ko nung nalaman nya mga requirements;.. dapat may proof of payment for medical health coverage for 3 months at least 50,000 cad dollars... ano dpt gawin para makaalis ng walang POLO?? guys pls help..

How about this situation?
Kc pumunta daw sya sa poea to get Oec, hinihingan sya ng polo verification.

It's always best to get the info from proper authorities, hindi lang sa kung ano ang sinabi ng iba. Tungkol sa POLO, it is our government's requirement for LICP to protect them.

ako d panga na approved visa ko pero inuna na ng agency ko ang pag follow up ng POLO...kaya if ever my visa na me naka ready na ang employer ko sa mga requirements ng POLO luckily malaki ang ensurance ng company ng magiging boss ko 100,000 cad dollars kya pasok sa requirements ng POLO na 50,000cad dollars...

It's always best to get the info from proper authorities, hindi lang sa kung ano ang sinabi ng iba. Tungkol sa POLO, it is our government's requirement for LICP to protect them.

ah POLO. i know na. explain sa akin ng POEA -- pag direct hire ka, you need to get POLO, but if agency-hired ka, you don't need it na kasi the agency will be the one to take care of this. kaya pag direct hire and you have visa na, around 4k plus ang babayaran mo for the PDOS, and then you will be the one responsible to notify your employer that POLO is needed to acquire your OEC. Now for agency-hired, they will ask for a sum of 16k plus for the PDOS, included na ang POLO dun, kaya when they will give you th endorsement letter for the PDOS and once you've attended it na and gathered the OEC, you're good to go na. Correct me na lang if i am wrong on this. i called up POEA about this and called up an agency to explain me on this.
