CELPIP TEST help required

Hello everyone,

I would like to get advice from all of you about getting above 10 points in CELPIP. I have got 12 points in Listening and Reading and 8 points in reading and writing this time. Would you please help me how to score more. Or any tips? ( My current CRS score is 449 and my work permit is about to expire in July.)

I read in the forum today morning who got his celpip re-evaluated (writing and reading) and he got his score increased to 478.

I suggest you to give one more time celpip test. Because i don't think the score will come lower than 450 soon. So try with celpip again.

For writing, Google formal and professional emails and see how they write emails.

For reading, buy practice test and practice daily.

My first celpip was 12-12-9-8 and by the second attempt, i got 11-12-9-9. Try to practice as much as possible and get yourself familiar with the format of the tests. I bought a mobile app that has practice questions, all the paragon practice tests, and search reviews from people to get information what questions they had, etc.

One other tip I can give you. Try to speak at all times in English. A lot of people don't do well in the 'Speaking' part because they speak in their native dialect at home and only use English very sparingly. You will find speaking in English gives you the confidence to construct thoughtful, and meaningful sentences. It also helps to build your vocabulary and helps you to initiate a conversation and/or discussion. This can be very useful not only for a language test, but also for going for a job interview in the future.
