Hello Guys,

There is one thing which is been troubling me to apply for my express entry. I started my employment with a company which hired me full time ( 40 hrs/ week) and then moved me to (24 hrs/ week) due to insufficient funds for just a month and half and again hired me full time. But if i calculate my hours as an average, overall i worked 32 hrs/week and reached the desired number of hours which is more than 1560 hrs /year.

can anyone please help me with this issue if i am good to proceed?

Thank you in advance.

Best Regards,
Karthik

You need 1520 hours AND also 52 weeks of full time work. Here's how you have to calculate your work experience:

- Any week you worked 30 hours or more counts as 1 week of experience
- For any week where you worked less than 30 hours, calculate the total hours and divide by 30
- Add the two numbers above together
- If the total is 52 or more, you are good to apply

Thank you for your response Scylla. If i calculate it for the whole year I am good. My only concern is will that 24 hrs/week will cause any issue in the future after submitting my application??
