Hi friends , please help me to clarify this, I am currently working full time 9 to 5 and I also work part-time at another job in the evening to make some extra income. Would having two jobs at the same time be affecting my CEC application later on? My part time job is usually 25 hours or less, sometimes it can come up to 30 hours. So in a week I typically work 60 hours .
Has anyone had the same situation ? please share your advice I would greatly love to hear . Have a good day all !

As long as you are eligible to work both jobs (e.g. open work permit), then there is no effect (either positive or negative). You have to work one calendar year to become eligible.

Obviously, only hours of skilled work will be eligible for CEC calculation anyway.

Hi , yes I understand , my part time job is only general labour as I need some extra income to make my life a bit better financially. My concern is just if working too many hours like that ( 60 hours a week) will have any effect on my PR application later on. I wonder if CIC should or would question why I work too much.

No they won't be concerned as long as you can prove that you meet the eligibility criteria.

Hi, I have a very similar situation, but in my case, both jobs, one part-time (15hours/week) and another full-time (30hours/weeks), are skilled work and both are from the same NOC. I would like to count week work hours from both of them to calculate my total work experience in years (1560 hours). My doubt is: Are both of them going to be considered as my work experience? Or just one as the full time already fits the maximum 30hours week? My hope is that because they are from different employers and are both from the same NOC, I would be able to use both hours (15 + 30 hours week). Any answer will be much appreciated, thank you!
