I have been working in Canada for over a year. I currently meet the requirements for both the CEC and PNP under the EE program.
I missed a previous EE PNP invitation round so I may likely be selected under the CEC in the next EE invitation round.
If I receive an invitation under the CEC, it would be because the PNP gave me an additional 600 points. Without those 600 points, I will only have a score of less than 500, therefore I wouldn’t meet the CEC cutoff score(recently it was around 510).
In this situation, if I get invited under the CEC, should I decline the invitation and wait for the next EE PNP invitation?
(I’ve only heard about EE PNP, but I’ve never heard of CEC with extra points from PNP.)
Is anyone else in this situation? If I accept a CEC invitation, will it be a valid invitation? Should I accept it?
Thank you!
