Good day guys, I am living with my partner in 2019 October until now. We got the CEC invitation on February 13, 2021(I am the primary applicant) Recently, IRCC needs me to provide documents which can prove me and my partner have been living 12 months. The documents I got now:
1. Rental Lease agreement with both our names on it; 12 months Rent payment receipts with both our names on it;
2. We do have joint bank account, but it just opened January this year. However, his bank statement and my bank statement have the same address.
3. We changed our status on CRA as common-law, and did file tax as common-law in 2020; it can be seen on both of our T1s and Option C.
4. social media chatting content(we are from different countries, so we use English the most) shows we are living together more than 12 months;
5. His payslips and my payslips have the same address;
6. His car insurance(from 2019-2021)and my car insurance(same time period)shows the same address;
7. Traveling photos; friends gathering photos and family video photos. Meanwhile, we have been raising a dog and a kitten together(which I have a lot of photos prove that);
Therefore, I wonder if they are sufficient to prove common-law relationship. Looking forward to your help. Thank you so much.
