Forgive me if this is asked elsewhere - please direct me if my answer is already found somewhere! I'll make it as short as I can.
I have 425 points and just got ITA under FSW. I don't have the full amount of funds. I have a full-time permanent job offer (skilled, B category) beginning in a few days and I was hoping after a year I'd get ITA under CEC and avoid the proof of funds situation. The thing is, it's also my birthday in a few days and I'll be 33. My points will drop to 419 then. I'm afraid if I reject the FSW I won't get ITA again (I might get OINP, but it's not a certainty) under FSW (once I save enough money) or CEC.
What are my options? I can't increase my score by more than a few points, and that's by learning French (my IELTS scores are at a max, I'm a native speaker). Could I borrow the money and get an affidavit saying it's a 'gift'? Should I just see an immigration lawyer? I wasn't expecting to get ITA yet and didn't think I'd be in this position.
Thanks in advance for any help.
