CEC spouse add on Processing Time

hello,
this is my query on canadavisa.com
hope so you all doing well.

Actually i have quick question .i applied for my pr f under cec on 2014 oct.
i got my file num in feb2015 .
After long wait i got my medical request in may 2016.
while the proceesing time i got married and after getting medical and final landing fee i add my spouse in my file
i got email from cic send all the spouse kit doc.i
sent all the spouse kit doc to cic.on 12jun2016
i add my spouse name with me .he is on open work permit here.


Now i just want to know that can i get any idea how long it will take for final decision how much delay will take to my file for passport request

i will very thankful for your suggestion.

I am in a similar situation. We also sent our add spouse kit in June and nothing happenned yet. Hope you can keep updating.

Adding a spouse to your application usually stretches the time-line to another month or two. Sometimes more, depending on the background check.
In your case if you didn't hear anything from CIC by the end of September, you can follow up with them.

I'm sure they will contact you in couple of weeks.

My wife applied in aug2014
added me on sept 2015 while her application was in process
We got medical done in jan 2016
Yesterday called CIC and they said application has sent to delhi in april 2016

Any idea what is my scope ??

we are living together

Did you get any update on your file?

What does it say on your MYCIC account about your spouse ? or on ECAS

I added my spouse in May, 2016 after receiving AOR in March, 2016. I have not heard anything since then and not sure if my spouse has been added to my current application.

Hi, I called CIC in the end of July. They did not touch my file yet at that time. And I ordered notes last week. Will update my information if they are processing it now.

same here when i called they said officer will open your file soon

that mean they did not touch my file that time it has 4 month now

Did they request for medical or you did upfront ?

They asked for medical and final landing fee for me on 11 may2016
after that i add my spouse case on 08jun2016
but i did same time my husband's medical and final landing fee upfornt
