Hi, Do you we should go for GCMS notes? Or Should we at least wait 4 months to be completed as they usually say most applications are processed in under 4 months?

Well, I think we should wait. As holidya's are around the corner and nobody will process the notes too.

True... It's all BlackBox and nothing is known what is happening. What's your VO?
I got to know from the client support center that too after multiple tries that my VO is not changed and my VO is CPC Ottawa which is too slow to process the applications.

Not sure yet what my VO is as I wasn’t lucky enough to speak to an agent who is willing to give any information regarding my file. I am still waiting on my gcms notes which should arrive any day next week. I have a feeling my VO is Edmonton which is also one of the slowest VOs (rolling my eyes) Did you order notes yet? Like do you know status of your application?

I see. Mine passed first time in September 17 then reverted back to do not need medical exam then they sent me instructions for new medicals in October 27. New medicals passed in November 9.

1. BCG in progress = Criminality, Eligibility passed; Security started
2. BCG in processing (after progress) = Security passed

now if info sharing is done; you are good for portal email at that time.

I hope that is the case for us as I have been in the processing stage since Nov 29 and still waiting for portal email. Maybe my info sharing is still in process? Hope to get my gcms notes next week to see what is actually going on with my file.

I’ve been waiting on my photo to be reapproved in the portal for a few weeks now (address approved, first photo was declined due to poor quality)

does anyone know how long it typically takes?

If my eligibility is passed I would not be worried as I had said Yes to Job offer before ITA and changed back to NO (my CRS was more than the cut-off aftre removing the job offer ) after ITA as my company does not generate a new job offer letter for an ICT WORK permit. Hoping that everything goes fine and it's a waiting game now.

( I had two GU but I only remember the date of the second one was Nov 12th)
1st portal email: Nov 13th

I have a similar timeline, no updates after MEP/BIL passed on Oct 28th. Any idea??
AOR: Sep 22
MEP/BIL passed: Oct 28
1st GU: 1st week of Nov ( where BG changed to: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.)
No updates thereafter!!

Got AOR on 6th Sept, medical passed on 20th Oct and after that silent as dead.

Okay folks ... looks like I have successfully jinxed my application. Its fucked!
IRCC is now asking for RCMP Criminal Record Check for my wife of all people! Great!
Given that delay in processing RCMP CRC, it is now a delay of 2 months or so. So cya folks!

I don't know why they ask so late. Anyways good that someone is looking at your application and I have seen people getting an approval without submitting the RCMP letter. Get the RCMP done at the earliest and send the document number. How much time they have provided?

No fukken idea! There is never any rhyme or reason for these things.
First they did not give her BIL for 2 months and now this. Its a comedy of errors!
