Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi

Last month i got rejected. I am planning to go USA for 2 days.
I hve valid wp till sept 2014. But i have TRV expired on AUGUST 2011.

Can i re-enter in Canada with just valid work permit?

Is that problem as i dont have temporary visa and pr rejected

As far as I know TRV is required to enter.

no u cant, dont go to usa witout TRV

I don't know why people give such ridiculous answers without knowing about it .. You can easily enter Canada from US with a valid WP and an expired VISA !! No worries .. I have done it multiple times .. Once my friend had issue because the airline was not allowing him to board the plane, but once he showed the rule it was okay .. Just google it .. Its clearly available on internet !!

Okay link to CIC site ..
ht tp : / / ww w.cic.gc. ca/english/helpcentre/ answer.asp?q=527&t=16

Remember to take the spaces out from the address ..

I know one can re-enter canada with wp.

But my question is that i got rejection last month. So would it create any problem for me?

Seniors please help

A refusal should not have any impact on your ability to return, since your WP is still valid for more than a year. I would suggest, just to be safe, carrying a recently dated letter from your employer (indicating that you are still employed), and/or a copy of your most recent pay statement.

Thank you jes_on and silenobserver

CEC refusal does anything like inadmisibile status?

Anyone has experience to return canada with valid wp only?

As op25 says:

All refused CEC applicants, including those refused for non-compliance with processing requirements, must be sent or otherwise provided a formal refusal letter. The letter must:
 inform the applicant of the categories or circumstances under which the application was considered;
 fully inform the applicant why the application has been refused.
Note: The refusal letter should not indicate that the applicant has been made a member of an
inadmissible class as a result of their failure to qualify as a worker with Canadian experience.

So who get refusal are inadmisible? But they do not show refual letter.
Or they are not..

Last line confuse me, i could not understand what it trying to say.

You do not become inadmissible for not gaining PR based on eligibility. Being ineligible is not the same as being inadmissible.

About going to the US, the rule is you don't need a visa so long your work permit is valid AND you do not travel to any other country. So make sure you have evidence that you did not leave the US the entire time you left Canada.

With my Valid Canadian WP and TRV, do i need a US Visa to go to the US if i am driving from Toronto to Buffalo?

Thanks guys..............

hi shyshy

the valid canadian WP and TRV will give you access to leave and re-enter canada..but however to enter the USA you will require a visitor or work visa depending on the nature of your trip

hope that helps

Hi 7799,

If you dont mind, can you please let us know the reason for your PR rejection?

Guys, I have submitted my PR application & my Visa is expired but I have valid work permit until 14th Dec. Will that be an issue?

Here is reason:

I applied under NOC 0631 and i got followig response.
Reason: I was not satisfied that you performed the functions of the lead statement and a majority of the main duties under NOC 0613. Consequently, you have failed to demonstrate that you have acquired twelve months of full-time skilled work experience in Canada at a National Occupational Classification skill of type O or level A or B in the last twenty-four months prior to the submission of your application and after having obtained your Canadian educational credential.

You will have to pay $150 at the border for a new temp visa on your way back into the country or they wont let you in. ITs 75$ for a visa if you apply before you leave

Hi guys
I am back from USA without TRV.

But canadian official did not take my I-94 neither she put entry in canada stamp on my passport.

So when i will filling up form it ask for last entry in canada.
