CEC - Proof of Funds Letter

Hello,

As the CIC website states you do not have to show proof of funds when applying for CEC, can someone please help me as to what information I should include in my letter for uploading to the proof of funds document section? Does anyone know where I can fid a template letter?

You can just update your Profile Funds to 0 and the placeholder will be gone. This is fine for CEC Applicants.

"Note: You do not have to meet the funds requirement if you were invited to apply under the Canadian Experience Class.

The system currently asks all applicants to provide a proof of funds document. If you don’t need to provide proof of funds, you must upload a letter explaining either that you have been invited to apply under the Canadian Experience Class, or that you have a valid job offer."

While creating my EE profile, I have mentioned that I have some available funds. Now can we change the available funds to "0" after getting the ITA??

Once you have you ITA your profile will freeze and you won't be able to make any changes. While applying you can upload LOE stating that you were issued ITA under CEC and hence no need for pof.

I did not reset my funds to zero. Just uploaded a "friendly reminder" á la "Dear Visa Officer, kindly consider that as applicants of the stream CEC we are not required to provide any proof of funds. Thank you for your time". Then I added th source and bam.
