Hello All,
So my background here in Canada is came as a visitor to settle with my girlfriend who is a Canadian citizen. I held a study permit in 2018 for a 1 year welding course which I completed. After studying I received a 1 year pgwp which is still valid for another 8 months. I started working after applying for the work permit and waited about 3-4 months for the approval. I have been with the same company for about 9 months now working full time in my field of study. Does the experience gained before receiving the work permit count towards my 1560 hours? Also if I apply through the Canadian experience class do I need a LMIA from my employer? The process and requirements can be a little confusing for PR, and I’m not sure which program fits my situation best.
