I got passport request on November 17, 2014. I request to change stamping location to New delhi on November 18,2014. Still waiting for reply.

Can anyone post photo Specification they ask with passport submission at new delhi?

Also, if CIC does not reply in 2 weeks, can we submit passport to India VFS with old request letter? Do they accept passport?

Please reply anyone who sent passport without CIC reply in this case.

Photo Specifications
•The photos must be identical and taken within the last six months. They may be either black and white or colour.
•The photos must be clear, well defined and taken against a plain white or light-coloured background.
•If the photos are digital, they must not be altered in any way.
•Your face must be square to the camera with a neutral expression, neither frowning nor smiling, and with your mouth closed.
•You may wear prescription glasses as long as your eyes are clearly visible. Make sure that the frame does not cover any part of your eyes. Sunglasses are not acceptable.
•A hairpiece or other cosmetic accessory is acceptable if it does not disguise your normal appearance.
•If you must wear a head covering for religious reasons, make sure your full facial features are not obscured.

The frame size must be 35 mm X 45 mm (1 3/8″ X 1 3/4″).

No you can't, unless you have the visa office change email.

Hi there,its too early to expect their reply, need to wait at least two weeks.

Simply explain your situation.
Make sure that you are staying there for a long time. If you are staying in INDIA for 1 month then its better to come early and submit in Canada. Otherwise it can take long time to transfer to India and you will not be able to come Canada on time.

Please guide me. Because I am in india from 30th November to 30th December 2014.
My 30 days expire to submit passport on 17th Dec.

Should I come back from india arround 10th December and submit passport to Ottawa?

or Should I send passport to india VFS on 30th November without getting reply from Ottawa?

Please guide me so I get proper direction

Why don't you want to wait for CIC response. It usually comes in around 2 weeks.

NO, first of all, I didnt send my passport to New Delhi (In India one has to go through VFS, no other option). It is my spouse`s passport for which I had to wait for a letter from CPP to submit my spouse`s passport in India.
I am here in Canada, but flying to India in December, that is why being in Canada, I have to send my passport to CPP-Ottawa using first letter of submitting passport, which I did with letter of explanation. Otherwise I may miss the family function and also have to reschedule the vacation.

Dark Night is right, You cant submit without getting a letter stating to submit your passport in India.

If u dont get reply from CPP-Ottawa then you have to come back. Even after getting reply from CPP, if you dont want to stay long in India then why do you want to submit your pp at new Delhi which would not be in your favour according to your vacation period. we never know how long does it take to return your passport.

NO, without letter, you cant, If you have a letter from CPP-Ottawa for submission at new Delhi then only you can submit to VFS, otherwise no, you should not. If u submit without letter then u can be stuck between two offices, I dont recommend it .

I sent only my passport to ottawa as I m in Canada with first letter but dont know what happens, hope to get the passport on time to fly to India. Its better to wait for the reply or come back within time line and submit at CPP-Ottawa.

Expecting it to be stamped within 8-10 days.
