CEC- PPR- Lead Time for VISA stamping through VFS in India

Dear All,

Can you please share your experiences about the lead time required to get passport stamped for PR through VFS India?

Please let us know if we submit our passport after PPR to VFS India, how much time it will take to get stamped from New Delhi consulate?

One "KUM1234" in the forums did it through VFS and it took him 2 months 15 days to get his passport back.

Would you mind sharing your location please?

Eg - You were in mumbai and submitted the passport to VFS Mumbai location and it took 6 days to get your passport back.

One of my friend submitted thro VFS mumbai got back passports in 3 weeks.

I emailed CPP-O to send me an email requesting me to submit my passport to New Delhi. They sent me an email & also informed me that it will take on an average 3-6 weeks for NDVO to stamp PR visa.

Then on 28th Jan I couriered my passport to CPP-O through DHL. They received it on Jan 30th. Today morning, I checked my tracker for return envelope & its activated. I will get my stamped passport by Feb 14th.

It took them a week or so to stamp my passport. They are working very fast & efficient to clear the backlog... I believe..

you sent passport in courier to Canada from india?
