CEC - Physical presence in Canada

Hello All,

We received our ITA in CEC draw, during the 1 year of Canadian employment, my husband and I had to travel to our home country for a month, he has worked continuously in that visit, will that duration be considered in CEC requirements?

Hi!

I had the same situation, my migration consultant told me that no, this 1 months won't count as a Canadian experience. So I decided to wait 1 more month.

@JadeTiger is correct, that 1 month would clearly not count towards CEC. Think of it this way, if you were originally living in another country and got a job working remotely for a Canadian company - would you see this as CEC? No you would not.
