Hi guys,

I´ve been invited to apply under the CEC

I worked in Canada in a part time position from January 2018 to May 2019 - an average of 25 hours/week (more than 1560 in total)

I have already reference letter from my employer, with company letterhead, my manager signature and all other letter requirements.

However, I do NOT have either T4 or pay stubs.

Do you guys think I can get approved only supported by the reference letter ?

Thank you so much

What's the reason you don't have T4s? T4s are easy to obtain. You can download them from the CRA website.

Even though the work took place in a good company and was a NOC job, I was an informal employee and was not registered.

I'm not sure what you mean by that. The employer is required to report your employment to CRA, along with the related tax submissions. If your employer didn't do this, it sounds like you must have been self-employed. Self-employed work experience cannot be counted under CEC.

Contractor experience doesn't count under CEC? Do you know where it says that on the website?

Agree with scylla, what does that mean? - "informal employee" sounds like "off the books". If you were a self-employed contractor (sole proprietor, personal services contractor) then the experience does not count (and in any case you should have received a T4A).. If you were on a term-limited employment contract (which does count), you should have T4s, paystubs...
