Can you please let us know how much time India VFS take to stamped our passport once we sent it.Hey everyone, Just an update: I received PPR in my account today.
AOR - July 2020 | CEC Outland.
I so wish you all get them as quickly as possible.
I didn't think I would say this, but now another waiting game commences. I guess you are never really relieved until you land in Canada and reunite with your loved ones. But happy to report this development, and I hope the same for you all!
Also before getting PPR did you received any portal email because in my case my application is approved but they sent me portal email instead of PPR.
No PPR until now but i received portal creds email instead of PPR

We both are in India with AOR March 4 2021 but last Thursday i received portal email instead of PPR. Now it another cat and mice game even after receiving approval in addition i already uploaded my address of India.

Buddy i did not received COPR i just received creds portal email which is used for inland application for virtual landing.
@Shahbazil- For outlanders also will get Portal mail? What is the process for outland applicants.
Will receive PPR and after the stamping we can do soft landing. For us PPR is like COPR or even we will also receive COPR and PPR mail.

In that case you are mentioning that you received Portal mail on Thursday. Now are you in Canada or India ?
currently i am outland but i used to be inland when i submitted application so i do not know how they send me portal email as i am supposed to get PPR
Few people here, including me, received a portal confirmation email even though we applied from outside canada and were outside through out the entire process. In the email, it tells you if you're not inside canada, you need to reply to the email and tell them that. So far, people received mixed responses. Few received an email telling them to let them know when they come back to canada to complete virtual landing process, others received an email back saying that they should either tell them when they are back in canada to complete landing procedure (I guess for visa exempt applicants or applicants currently holding a valid visa) or to have the file transferred to local mission, which probably means to have PPR and CoPR issued.
So far, I believe only one person on here received PPR after replying to confirmation portal email. As for me, I replied to the email 19 days ago and did not receive anything back.
Where did you see that soft landings are allowed? According to the IRCC, it looks to me like soft landings remain prohibited:
If you’re outside Canada and your COPR and permanent resident visa are still valid
If you hold a valid (not expired) Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) and visa, you can travel to Canada as of June 21, 2021.
You must also
- be coming to Canada to settle permanently (you cannot come to Canada and leave to go live in another country, even if it’s temporary) and
- show you’re able to quarantine for 14 days
