I hope you're right. I hope we really start to take off on the upcoming week of the 7th and onward. This week is very crucial for outland applicants. If anyone knows any PPRs on outland files, please share them here.

Yeah.. I am seeing on other forums Outland dependent applicants with Inland primary applicants getting COPRs. Hopefully IRCC keeps us in mind too. This week is very crucial for outland applicants. If anyone knows any PPRs on outland files, please share them here.
Flying back would not help, trust me.Outland Applicant April 2020
Biometrics July 2020
Medical September 2020
Haven't heard anything since biometrics. Have sent numerous webforms and the replies have moved from pending to in progress with an officer. I have heard this since June however. I asked have Outland applications started to be processed again and haven't been given any info. Hopefully will hear something this month before medical has to be redone. Has any Outland applications been approved? Questioning whether to fly back on visitor visa when borders open in September and switch applications to inland.
Thanks for your reply. How did you find out that everything was passed?Flying back would not help, trust me.
My AOR July 2020, and I was back Oct 2020 with a working holiday visa, they still treat me as outland applicant. Everything passed and final saying approved since March 2021, and no update after that. They put me in the group CPCO COVID RFV, which is mainly for outland applicants I believe.
I called IRCC. I updated my address on webform for few times, called few times to confirm I am currently in Canada, but it does not change anything. And from that point, they will only tell you to wait, and you never know how long is the wait as our files are too complex compared to those applied this year. Thanks for your reply. How did you find out that everything was passed?
We will get a mail this month, already they started for Principal Inland and outland dependents. So this month we need to get the mail.I called IRCC. You think they are that efficient to clear the backlog? We are not their first priority, 2021 applicants are. They will work on our files when they have time, but prioritize 2021 applicants first, so their files can be closed within 6 months to make their report looks good. For us, we are over 6 months anyway, there are no differences between over 6 months or over 6 years. We will get a mail this month, already they started for Principal Inland and outland dependents. Not really. 80% of Outland applicants are from 2019-2020. Although no PPRs have been issued for Outland files , almost all of them from 2019-2020 are finalized in the backend. So the first thing they will do is sending coprs/ppr. Moreover , clearing few Outland files from 2021 won’t bring down the average processing time as the wait times for other files are huge. You think they are that efficient to clear the backlog? Don’t forget there are still lot of 19-20 CEC inlands waiting for everything passed and copr. Not really. 80% of Outland applicants are from 2019-2020. That's right. So my assumption is that they gonna finalize applications for all files from 2019-2020 for both inland & outland very soon. My gut feeling says outland will be more prioritized as the inland's have BOWP until their application is finalized.Don’t forget there are still lot of 19-20 CEC inlands waiting for everything passed and copr.
It’s good that you still have faith in them. I have lost mine a while ago. Have been told to wait by the IRCC agents for months, and still waiting, even though everything was passed months ago and I am currently in Canada. That's right. I can understand your feeling. I'm in the same boat. Please don't lose faith now, a light in the tunnel is finally here. Canada is under more pressure than ever to finalize all the applications. Most of the MPs, oppositions parties, and media are grilling IRCC for huge backlogs. Moreover, IRCC agents have replied to many calls that they will finalize files starting in August. I feel more optimistic than ever. Starting sept, tourists will arrive, so IRCC is planning to clear backlogs before working on these new TRV visas. Also, vaccine targets are achieved in Canada and covid cases are under control. I feel something positive. It’s good that you still have faith in them. I have lost mine a while ago. All the agents I called gave the same reply, wait, and told me no one knows how long the wait is going to be. My MP asked for twice, and got same reply, covid is the main issue. However, if covid is the main issue, why are 2021 applicants getting copr in less than 2 months? That does not apply only to EE, some other streams as well.I can understand your feeling. I suppose those 2 months you mentioned are for inland applicants. You are right about the response from agents and MPs but since last 2 weeks it has changed. My friend as well as someone else in this forum got response that they will start finalizing applications starting August. All the agents I called gave the same reply, wait, and told me no one knows how long the wait is going to be.
