Hi @Srisundarcan Sorry man. Didn't mean to offend you in any way. I apologize if it seemed that way. Was just making sure we are all on the same page and making sure if I understood it correct.

When I got the ITA for CEC Express Entry I was already in India and took up a new job after leaving my Canadian job. Now I changed my Job again in India. So this is my second job in India after leaving Canada and the job there.

So when @legalfalcon says that if we change a "job for which we claimed points" would that be our Canadian job for which we got the points OR is it just any job with the same NOC. My doubt being since we also got points for the same NOC job under having foreign skilled work experience.
None taken . Was just trying to explain . Atleast according to my knowledge. only if we claim 50 point for job offer , we need to post them about job change. All other stuff locks on ita day . We can stay jobless after ita - or change job it don’t matter for them .

- Let’s now wait for approval. I am thinking this thread will be very much active soon

So it seems like they are definitely processing our applications fully, but holding off on sending COPRs until we can enter Canada, right?
Yes, that's why it is so frustrating. I've been already approved but I'm quite anxious and so so ready about just getting this whole thing over with. It has been a long road already for them to just put us on hold. I really really hope that they don't keep us waiting for the rest of the year. That would just be absolutely crazy.

I guess the good news is that they will be allowing fully vaccinated foreign national tourists into Canada as of mid September. Maybe our time is coming :)

Job for which you were employed. If it was an older job, then you don't have to inform IRCC since you no longer work there anyway.

Eg. if you were employed with ABC Inc., and claimed points for this job.

You submit your application and subsequently leave the job. You have to inform IRCC that you no longer work here.

If you also claimed points for XYZ Inc, where you worked 3 years ago but resigned before submitting your application, IRCC is already aware that this is your past employment.

Hey guys, for those who ordered gcms notes, are the dates on your notes from the day you requested or are they the most updated version the day they send it? for example, i requested gcms notes may 20th, will i get the notes that are prior to may 20th or will i get them up the day they will send them to me? because its been 2 months now, so something could have happened these two months.

In my experience, they are usually about a month old by the time we get them. Who knows what it will be with these delays.

Guys please don’t argue in this forum, we are stressful enough and stuck out of Canada and just waiting for news updates we can’t tolerate your arguments here thank you !

Does anyone know the exact reason why they are not finalizing the applications and issuing COPRs. Travel restrictions don't seem to be a reason right now.
