CEC Outland - Any info?

Hello,

My work permit is set to expire at the end of January 2025. I have already applied for Permanent Residency (PR) with a score of 489 points, but I haven’t received an Invitation to Apply (ITA) yet. I’m hoping to get an invitation through the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) before my work permit expires.

However, if I don’t receive an invitation by then, I’ll need to return to India. If this happens, will it impact my application? Will I still be eligible under the CEC category, or will my application be considered from outside Canada, making it more challenging to receive an invitation?

Hello @Margee patel @Ashray Kwatra im also an cec outland applicant. I applied my pr when i was in canada then moved to india because my pgwp expired. My aor is march 15 and still waiting for final decision. My pvo is sydney its been over 7 months there is no movement in my application from last 4 months. Its so frustrating.

Hi @hardik0003.hs I am stuck as well. My AOR is 17 Aug and I am still waiting for FD. My VO is Etobicoke. My eligibility got completed on Nov 4 but stuck in background since then. Got adr and submitted adr in Feb but the officer has not started reviewing my documents. It’s so frustrating and already so much time gone.
Did you receive FD? What was your timeline?
