what is info sharing means , can you plz tell me . and after what stage it is done ?

I saw a message on this page above where someone stated about "info sharing". But even I m not sure what they do under info sharing. Might be checking visa info between tied up countries such USA n UK.

No nothing to worry, if they are asking ADR it means they are working on your application.
You can call the agents and inquire about Eligibility, Criminality, Security, Visa Office and Info Sharing. What is your stream? CEC or FSW? Inland or Outland?

So I was going through my original application and noticed I made an error in putting in my passport number!! I put in my older passport number instead of the new one. My docs uploaded reference the new one though. I immediately sent in an enquiry through a webform https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx and mentioned that. Will this be okay? I am low-key freaking out...

I know a little about info. sharing. It's basically your profile/information gets shared with the US Govt. I guess it's another screening thing.

It's done in parallel with your eligibility and criminality which is basically IPI2.

Well I've been hearing a lot from others that regardless of how fast your profile is being reviewed, the avg. time is going just above 6 months. So you never know, there might be others who were in the same situation.

I just hope we all get it soon!

Well, it sucks really if it takes up to 6 months or more than 6 months. CEC Inland take up to 4-5 months generally, lets see what happens with our case, no hopes to get it soon anyways.

Called them today again and it is really going way too slow as compared to my expectation

She said final decision will be made within 6 six months it looks like it might gonna take more then 6 six months

I have been trying to get a hold of an agent at CIC.. every time I call, it says sorry we are expecting a high volume of calls and can't connect you to an agent right now and disconnects -__-

I just call them and agent first told me that my back ground check in progress and then I ask regarding my eligibility and she mention that it is still progress. I do know what is going on they are still working on eligibility after 4 months. My AOR is 4th Oct 2018, is there any one who has same status?

Me too,agent said the same.Aor is October 16,meanwhile October applicants are already getting ppr
