Hello,

I am currently in India. I was working in Canada for last 4 years and had to come back to india due to urgency.
I have work permit but do not have visa on my passport. From India it takes 34 days to complete the process.
My Company told me to come within next 15 days to retain my job.

What can I do in this situation?

Do I have any other option?
Go to embassy and get an appointment showing the immigration officer the letter you received from your work.
It is just an advice. It might help.

Application filed on July 24 ,2014
AOR on October 23 ,2014

There were 6,000 applicants were Waiting on Nov 30,2015 , so I am sure atleast 3,000 to 2,000 still waiting.

Really? Since you already have a work permit I would have thought it will take less time as you do not require any pre-screening etc. Now, granted that this was too long ago (few years) but it took them 7 days to process my application. I provided them with my passport, copy of work permit and letter of employment.

Best of luck and keep us posted.

My understanding is that the the application processing times are counted from the date if the AOR. Because CIC says the dates are calculated from the time a full and complete application is received by their office. They only know if it is complete or not after reviewing the application. I could be wrong though.

In any case, the current processing time for CEC applications submitted before Jan 1 2015 is 21 months. If we take this processing time, you have gone past it regardless of which dates you look at. And I am sure the processing times were even lower when you applied.

I think it is time order GCMS notes to understand what is going on and if possible, get you local MP involved.

the processing time begins from the date they receive your application. Check ECAS and whenever it says we received your application on xxxx

Today is Deadly Tuesday...Any luck for anyone? :( :( :( :( :(

They seems to be sleeping badly no updates its already 24 months and still nothing.

As per notes everything is complete not sure what they are waiting for

Today received GCMS notes, it seems everything passed, and due date is Nov 30,2016 and location is PACE, CPC - Ottawa. Can anyone tell what mean by due date and PACE meaning? Is it visa issue date?

I not 100% on these but based on what I read in the past -

PACE: Passed all criteria of eligibility
Due Date: Next actionable due date deadline (internal - could be either they make a PPR request or follow up etc).

Where do I find the Due date in GCMS notes ?
