Hey so i figured why is it asking us for IELTS. Try to play around with questions, Instead if answering i would like to move there or find a permanent job try answering I would like to work and planning to stay temporarily for 6 months or more. I am sure it will by pass the IELTS question and it will take you to next bunch of question before landing you to the Open work permit application.

Also if your WP is expiring soon and you apply online or paper based and application is received before your WP expiry date you are legal to work in canada under the implied status.

I apply for PR under Canadian Experience class now I am trying to apply for work permit extension but it does not mention for CEC anywhere. The one highlighted in red. What I am suppose say here Yes or No as they specifically mention if you applied for PR under one of following classes:
•I applied for permanent residence and was found eligible (first stage approval) under one of the following classes:
•Spouse or Common-law Partner in Canada
•Humanitarian and Compassionate cases
•Protected Persons in Canada
•Live-in Caregiver in Canada

Just called CIC, they said the last correspondent was sent out by email on Jun 10, but both my lawyer and I didn't receive anything. Can I request to resend that correspondent?

yes you can ask to resend and confirm the email address it was sent to. If needed, email CPC-ottawa to change it.

I've commented here a few times and I'm happy to say I'm finally a PR!

I received my PPR June 10th, mailed on June 10th.
Received my passport on June 23rd and Landed at the Queenston-Lewiston Bridge on June 24th, with no issues!

1. Log In to My GCKey
2. Go to the Link apply for: Work Permit.
3. First couple questions should give you option of selecting Immigrate, Economy class, Canadian Experience class etc....

that's what I did but I couldn't see any option for economy class there. can you please elaborate more step by step.

I dont remember the question pattern, but if you wanna post questions step by step here i might be able to walk you through.

Hello everyone,

I want to thank everyone and the forum for helping me with this painful process of PR. I finally received my Passport and COPR yesterday and will be going to the border soon. Also, best of luck to those who didnt hear anything yet or waiting for something. Its painful, but in the end its fruitful.

Just received an email from cic to submit my husband's travel history document. It was before asked in April and again now they said it is final reminder to final my applicatin. It makes my day because at least they do want my application to finalized

I only have one question in the COPR the date of last entry is not correct. Do I have to call them or tell the officer while landing ?

He don't have any travel history and he is in India, so I just sent a filled form which they asked. They asked me to send it just by replying their email back. Thanks
