Congratulations everyone on the good news! ;)

This is when I kind of wish I wasn't from a visa-exempt country, because it would be nice to get that email confirmation that would finally let me relax.

I just checked ECAS and my application still says 'In Process', which I guess doesn't really mean much judging by what others have said and how long it can take for them to update it.

However, one thing has changed. I'm pretty sure the page used to just give my address once, but now it appears twice, once under 'Your current home address' and once under 'Your current mailing address'. I don't know if that means anything other than that someone has at least updated something, but here's hoping it means something!

The funny thing is, is that last week I finally snapped and booked a holiday for two weeks in Canada to visit my girlfriend. It would be typical if my COPR came through while I was there!

In addition, for those of us who are from visa-free countries, is it worth calling up CIC again to see if anything has changed? If our COPRs have been sent out will that show up on our file and would the call centre assistants have knowledge of that?

Yes, I was told by a call centre agent my app was approved two days before receiving the COPR in the mail, and he provided the date the COPR was sent.

Can anyone help me with the time to get passport returned from CIC after PPR?

I just checked ECAS, and it says Decision Made (I'm from a visa-exempt country, so no PPR email)! Now, I just wish I knew what that decision was, and that the mail from Canada wasn't so bloody slow!

My ecas also says decision made. Two days after receiving Passport Request. I'm so thankful I could cry.

My ecas also now shows decision made! I really hope it is a good decision!
I'm from visa-exempt country.
I am wondering how long it takes to rceive a mail from Cic in Toronto.

Decision made too ....it's finally over

My ECAS also shows Decision Made as of today. I'm from a visa exempt country. Timeline to the left.

Oh my god! ECAS finally changed to Decision Made!
