Just got my GSCM notes yesterday. so far, my eligibility and medical has already changed to "Passed" except for Criminality (still in progress) even though they have received my RCMP Criminal Record check 3 weeks ago.

My application assignment was due to May 27th, 2016 at paper file location: CEC pending, not sure what does that mean ( I need to decide to renew my BOWP, which will expire next month, this week)

CEC OFF REV : Does this mean the review is over and waiting for Final PPR?

CEC Pending : They ask for any additional document and they haven't reviewed it yet?

Then I have no idea on what those statements mean ???

See one month ago, viny3n's criminality was in process. Which is why location was CEC Pending. I bet if now viny3n orders a new GCMS, after 30 days it should say CEC OFF REV

CEC OFF REV is officer review but I am not sure what comes first CEC PENDING or CEC OFF REV :-\
Up to my MP office I should here before June 13 - fingers crossed

My location says CEC Pending
My notes request was 20 days after RPRF request and 15 days after they received my RCMP (they all show paid and passed)

Based on the last sets of notes I received (generated after my app was approved), it goes CEC Pending-> CEC OFF Review-> RFV Check

Hang in there guys. Lets pray CIC wakes up soon.

One common thing I noticed in coupe of GCMS Notes is LOCATION : CEC PENDING. I also noticed that if they ask for any additional document request in April 2016, you see CEC Pending in your GCMS.

To all who got their GCMS notes recently, can you please check on page 2 and see if you have CEC PENDING?

GCMS notes received on April 25th, 2016 has location: A900
GCMS notes received on June 1st, 2016 has location: CEC pending (I was asked for IMM 5569 in april)

I am assuming that Location is Officer....I might be wrong....If no one is assigned then its CEC pending???

Thanks,
Subhk

QUESTION!

So I'm filling out the IMM 5710, Application to Change Conditions, Extend My Stay, or Remain in Canada as a Worker, and I was wondering what do I select for question 3.

"I am applying for one or more of the following:"
- A work permit with the same employer
- Restoration of temporary resident status as worker
- Initial work permit or a work permit with new employer
- Temporary resident permit.

Should I also check mark Temporary Resident Permit?

I am currently holding OPW. What should I select and I also have temporary residence visa.

Thanks!

Called CIC yesterday. The agent said my application was complete and ready for final decision and visa/passport request and that I will hear back within the next month..

Timeline:
Applied: Oct 18, 2014
AOR: Feb 20, 2015
Upfront Medical received by CIC: Mar 2, 2016
RPRF received by CIC: April 19, 2016

Final Decision: God knows when..

It doesn't really matter, I selected work permit with same employer

Got pretty much the same response from the CIC agent. Tomorrow will be 3 weeks since my MP office told me that CIC informed them that in 3 weeks they will be done with the processing. I am holding my breath to get PPR soon.
my timeline:
Applied: Sept 29, 2014
AOR: Feb 6, 2015
Doc Req: Mar 7, 2016 for T4 & NOA 2014
Upfront medical received by CIC: March 24, 2016
RPRF request and paid: April 26, 2016

It almost looks like all of our files are ready for visa but No ONE is there to issue the visa.

Reasons

1 Because they are understaffed ?
2 Lots of application in Ottawa office?
3 They have visa issue quota for May and it was full so they are waiting for June to issue new visas?
4 May be after all the applications are ready for visa, they will issue mas PPR to all the applications. Like Raining of PPR?

These are my theories. Since I have nothing else to do, I am constructing these theories. If anyone can think of anything besides these, feel free to post. :)
