CEC October 2014 Applicants

we cant wait any more...it is more than 19 months...it is causing lot of stress and issues with families..why CIC is not understanding it..

I don't understand why are they delaying our PPRs/COPRs ?? and also yesterday they updated the CEC processing times: time is still 19 months but no PPRs. :'(

This wait is killing me every minute ; even more when you call CIC and they say just waiting for final decision.. same answer from last 3 & 1/2 weeks.

Now they will be on summer vacations and by the time they start working it is Thanks Giving & Christmas. The only time they work is from Jan-April in any year.

But do you really think after 19 months that CIC has a timeline ??
When I applied in october 2014 the processing time was 9 months..

Anyway they "claim" to send the notes within 30 calendar days

Alternative faster way to know status is call MP office they will call CIC on your behalf and request status update they will get correct accurate information like what the notes will say but faster..

my mp office did already contact them, thats why i got the RPRF and medicals, now MP office is not helping me..anymore..

i have contacted the CIC call center agent, he told me all is okay, waiting for PPR..

i can login through my RPRF receipt number also...

That is good if they told you that waiting for PPR
My MP office told me that I should get PPR in June (no exact date given!)

So we will see

Yesterday, a friend called CIC, he was told by agent the same thing (that he should get ppr in june, if not call them back).Then maybe CIC is purposely delaying our PPRs.

They want your BOWP money
I applied on sunday for BOWP when my MP office called they told the lady we see that he (I) applied for a work permit extension as well we will approve it for him hahah! Still not approved yet

Absolutely correct! CIC = Money Making Company

They approved my BOWP in 15 days(April-9-26) when the processing time was 78 days! Then sent me COPR(April-29) and last week I received the work permit in mail!

There are many unwritten rules for CIC. Most of us got RPRF in Mar/April time frame. Apparently we can't call them within 3 months from last communication from CIC, inspite of passing the 19 months. Now they are saying, internally they increased processing times from 19->22 months and it's only matter of time it shows up on web

I am sorry I know you are going through a tough time too but PLEASE STOP listening to customer service. Everytime since September of 2015 have they said internally blah blah four more months only matter of time before it increases blah blah. That has never happened max it has gone up is two months. Avoid customer care at all costs they know nothing

I have to agree. They are wildly inconsistent in their answers.

I won't agree more. Call center agents make processing time statements on their own so that we stop calling them.

When I called last time, the agent said I should get PPR in month of May, and
yesterday, I called agent said wait until September 2016 but you will get before that and you would not need to call us back.
Wednesday, A friend of mine called and agent said you should get PPR in month of June.

So... yes, don't trust them.

I got my Notes yesterday (3rd set of notes )
Everything is passed

But not sure where some people are seeing RFV date?
I have a due date but that was May 5 ! we are 20 days after that due date for I have no idea what...

Any way according to my MP office I should hear in June for PPR - Fingers crossed
