Paid upfront in March 2015. My last set of notes indicate that an officer would have requested payment on April 9 if I hadn't paid upfront.

Got MR yesterday. I tell my family I still can be rejected after medical. But they believe it means acceptance.

mostly CIC will approve it, until unless if there is any major health issues such as TB, AIDS etc..

Just got off the phone with the call centre. My application was approved last week and my COPR was mailed last Friday Oddly, ecas still shows "in process"

I am a little confused about the timing of COPR though, is it after the PPR or before?

I'm from a visa exempt country, so I don't have to send my passport in for a Visa, they are just supposed to change my ecas to decision made and send the COPR. They sent the COPR, but someone forgot to update ecas, because it still shows in process.

I think rejection could happen even though the medical is passed.

They don't request medicals if the eligibility is not set to "recommended pass"
refusal at later stages if it is going to happen is because background or security.
