I hear you man,,,,,same here. Do not know when we gonna come out from this sh!!!!!!!T

Its getting frustrating day by day. WP expires May 20. No news since april 22 RPrF. CIC expecting us to apply BOWP to get extra cash. Thats not a canadian approach. They should be ashamed of themselves making all us suffer and live through this stress.

Called CIC today, agent said that my file was last touched on April 26 and everything has been passed on my file.
We are just waiting for final decision as soon as decision is made we will notify you.

Agent refused to tell me RFV date (reason was it is for internal communications can't be provided to applicants).

waiting for the checks to pass from 18 months, now waiting for this final approval then wait for passport request .... wat a joke it is. Wow...

Given that my RFV date is this Sunday, we should soon know if they are actually sicking to their due dates.

I understand the frustration and the problems this lengthy process have caused to everyone, but I have to say I find a bit surprising some comments on this October post.

I mean, most of August applicants are just now finalizing the process, that makes 20 months. Still some Jul/Aug/Sept applicants are with ongoing process and October applicants are raving about their files not being completed.

We should know by now that each application is different and that there's limited capacity from CIC workers, and that CEC2014 is not the only process going on. I am not trying to justify CIC and their mess, I am just trying to say that we need to calm down and just wait. Time will come for everyone, sooner rather than later.

Calling CIC, asking for notes, swearing, etc doesn't help and just make CIC busier and you're taking precious time out of their hands.

Just saying guys, you're almost there, just be a patience a little longer.

I get your point, but call centre agents and GCMS agents are not the officers, as such, requesting notes or calling the centre in no way causes further delays.

Just got off the phone with the call centre. My application was approved last week and my COPR was mailed last Friday :) Oddly, ecas still shows "in process"

Congrats man!!

It has to do with the BOWP. All PPL in old CEC who get PPR or CORP have applied BOWP already. They are waiting for $225.

Thanks, and sadly, I think you're right. To be fair, I could totally see my own country doing the same thing lol

I am applying for BOWP as soon as I get my employment letter and if it happens and I get PPR then we know that they are cheap bastards waiting for us to pay more money...
