Sick and tired of calling RCMP ....It's been 13 days since i m trying to get hold of these people No luck. Would you guys know how do i confrim if they delivered my RCMP to Ottawa office (CIC).

CIC call centre agent refused to tell me if they have received my RCMP or not as my prcoessing time has not passed yet.

Any advise

The only thing you can do is wait for your PPR.

Hi,

I did Medical exam on March 20th and my doctor said she submitted my file on the 28th. But my ECAS is not updated yet, should I be worried?

I see people saying that we should send CIC email when the file is submitted by the doctor and include the medical form you get from the doctor, does that really help? I didn't do that, so wondering if this actually makes a difference, anyone in the same position?

Thanks

By emailing CIC with your form you are telling them to update your file :D
If you don't do that, it is going to be up to how fast/busy they are and your number in the queue
Email is always higher priority than waiting..

Good luck

I put my home address as delivery address
RCMP sent me the letter to me in 3 days
I sent it to CIC Ottawa myself xpress post with tracking
That way I knew when it was received by them not trying to guess or deal with call centre agents.

Good luck.

One thing I have noticed in your timeline and others as well....CIC requested documents on 17 march "Thursday" and 31 march "thursday".

I guess we might hear something tomorrow.

Hi there, can you let me know where i can request GCMS note? Can it be done online?

1. Visit https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do?lang=en
2. Scroll down and check the box "I have read, understood and agree with the above Privacy Notice." and Submit.
3. Select CIC from the drop down. (first field)
4. Select Individual/Corportation present in Canada (Second drop down)
5. Fill in your details (Self explanatory)
6. Select Member of public for "Select the category that best describes you"
7. select "E-mail" for "How would you prefer to receive the requested records" (choose the mode you are comfortable with)
8. Continue to next page.
9. You dont need to attach any additional documents, unless you have a spouse on your file or you want to prove something.
10. Select Privacy Act in next page
11. Submit the final request. Once you submitted the request, wait for one month.

Also you have to select case files in one of the drop down box.

Hey guys. After paying RRPF (upfront) and sending the receipt, should you expect to get a line on ECAS saying it's been received, like with the medical results?

NO line for RPRF but after RPRF payment, you should be able to login in ECAS through receipt no (which would be your RPRF payment receipt which starts with "R")

In my case, I was able to login after a week.

medical req: feb 25, 2016
medical done: march 1st, 2016
medical recvd by cic: march 15
passport req: march 16, 2016
passport sent: march 16th, 2016
revd passport back with visa n COPR: april 1st

April 6th was the last EE batch right? Now based on old posts CIC had a deadline or at least was expecting to end old CEC applications in April, hope they keep on working in our applications and not only in EE... otherwise this is going to be like last year...

Hi, I'm not referring to EE batch. I'm talking about old cec applications , that some October applicants got RPRF request and Ready for Visa email on April 6, 2016 which was Wednesday (nothing after that according to this thread).
Check pages 253, 254.

and I read somewhere in September thread that someone got reply from their MP that old applications are expected to be cleared by May 2016.
I'm not sure if that is the reason cic is not sending much updates to October in April.

Yes, sorry, that is what I meant, since there was a EE batch, CIC is probably working on that instead of our old applications.

Regarding clearing old apps in May... HOPE you are right! ;)

I hope that too.
but for now, we can't do anything except waiting (like we're doing from last 18 months) :-X

hey guys,

I requested my GCMS notes on March 8th and haven't received yet.. now I'm thinking if I've done something wrong? Can someone tell me how should I request... I remember I had to pay $5 but I've seen people saying that it's free and now I'm confused!

Also, no updates... wait is killing me :-X
