Just received my GCMS notes that I requested on March 29. They move pretty quick.

And what did they say on your GCMS notes? All passed? is there any hold off?

It has been more than a month since I did my upfront medicals. I have 3 lines in my ecas including medicals received.
Anyone in October still waiting for RPRF request (who did upfront medicals) ?

Hi, My application was received on oct 17,2014. I did medicals on march 7,2016 . ecas updated on march 14 with medicals received line.

Just checked mycic , My Work Permit application is approved and closed today.
I assume that means my PR application is good.
I am not sure if PR and work permit applications are related (but I think they are related).
Just trying to see some light to stay positive and wait for PR application to be approved as well.

All hopes on tomorrow !!! (if cic is really doing weekly updates now)

When did you apply for the BOWP? Usually, they are not related and approved by different departments, but since the BOWP is only available with a running PR, sure, they do have the insights. Entering the UCI will usually display all applications - this is what the agents also see on the phone.

They are related in a way that you will not get your BOWP approved if your PR eligibility is not passed (unless you had PGWP before).
So great news to you!

I applied online on Feb24 (exactly 4 months before expiry of current PGWP).

Thanks but I don't know if it is great news. I'm still concerned about my PR application. I don't know when this wait will be over.
CIC is getting slow again... My representative said don't expect RPRF before May :'( :'(

Update:

Hi folks, I have received my CoPR and visa today.
I sent out my passport, PPR message, two photos and XPress envelope on April. 6th, 2016.
It took me about 6 days to get it back.

You're very lucky. I sent mine on April 05th (received at CIC on April 06th) and the tracking back hasn't even been activated yet :'(

Was it only you or did you have family members? I wonder sometimes if that can make a difference in the time they take for each application.

Hi,

I did Medical exam on March 20th and my doctor said she submitted my file on the 28th. But my ECAS is not updated yet, should I be worried?

I see people saying that we should send CIC email when the file is submitted by the doctor and include the medical form you get from the doctor, does that really help? I didn't do that, so wondering if this actually makes a difference, anyone in the same position?

Sick and tired of calling RCMP ....It's been 13 days since i m trying to get hold of these people No luck. Would you guys know how do i confrim if they delivered my RCMP to Ottawa office (CIC).

CIC call centre agent refused to tell me if they have received my RCMP or not as my prcoessing time has not passed yet.

Any advise
