CEC October 2014 Applicants

So maybe they have certain days, where they review our files...

I recently observed a trend, and it seemed, my file was touched on a weekly basis according to the updates the agents told me. But don't rely on my statement. It might have been coincidence.

I'm an October 2014 applicant. I am going to the border to land later today. Here is my timeline:

Application arrived on Oct 14, 2014
Upfront medicals submitted on Oct 28, 2015
RCMP check request on Feb 18, 2016
RPRF payment request on Mar 3, 2016
Passport request on Mar 10, 2016
Passport sent on Mar 28, 2016
Passport came back with visa and landing paper on April 7, 2016

I requested for notes twice. I don't quite remember when I did those. But it was shortly after the second notes came back I started to get all the requests - not sure if they are related.

Some additional info:
I applied under Express entry in November 2015 because the old CEC was going really slow. After I got my passport back, I phoned CIC to cancel my express entry and requested for a refund of the upfront RPRF I paid. The agent told me since my two applications were both under CEC, one would be canceled automatically if the other was approved. So in this case my express entry application would be canceled. She then sent me a link to a web form that I could fill in and request for a refund. I should be expecting a reply in 10 business days, which I am still waiting for.

I am oct 14 applicant, I see most of people have received medical requests RPRF and PPR, I didnt hear back after providing documents even after 25 days. No medical no news, almost lost all hopes. Is there anybody who can help me? I am in deep trauma.

what documents did they request, and what lines do you have in ecas?

I have been too concerned about my situation and you answered it all.

I also applied under CEC and later this year Feb I applied under Express Entry too..
I hope once I get the request for my Passport I will also be doing the same.

Hello guys!

I was able to login into ECAS with RPRF receipt number which I paid last Wednesday after I got a RPRF request.

I was able to log in with the RPRF receipt number and also saw that the Medicals have been received.

Application Received: Oct 14, 2014

I got MR on Mar/21 and Meds uploaded on Mar/24. CIC website was updated on Mar/30 that meds were received. So far there is NO RPRF. When you get MR, are they done with Security OR Security is in process even after MR ? I 'm Oct/9 applicant and no RPRF request till date.

I got RCMP request after MR by 10 days
I got RPRF after RCMP by 6 days

Security can be still in process after MR they are not related.
