CEC October 2014 Applicants

Both of us got PPR, but co-applicant's passport is lost (in transit).

Applying for a re-issue, will take a week at the least.
anybody ever heard a case like this? What happens when you lose the passport you are to get visa on?

For my passport, CIC says they have mailed it on Apr 01 but it hasn't arrived yet.. if I don't have the return chit, what are my options?

Never thought the last and easiest leg will be the hardest :-[

2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on February 16, 2015.
3. We started processing your application on February 17, 2015.

I got my RPRF fee request on March 22. Is that what they mean by 4th line? I Am little worried to see that because they didn't ask for any docs. Will call them tomorrow but if anyone else with same case please reply.

I received the ready for visa email few minutes ago!

I want to know how long it takes to get the visa?
I am going to travel to my home country on April 23.
If I am sending the printed travel ticket and ask CIC for fast processing, is that fine?

Try to call them multiple times during the week until you reach an agent who will assist you with your concerns. If they really sent you a letter, they need to check this. If the letter got lost in the mail and you did not react in time, they will blame it on you. They should really check if a letter was sent. This is important.

Thanks a lot for your suggestion. It's really worked out. Today i tried calling CIC agent and got a chance to speak with a nice person. I have explained my case and he was so kind enough to open my file. I just mentioned to him that "my MP gave an update that my application was approved and letter was sent on Feb 24th ". But I didn't receive any mail on the same. So he checked my file and said the same to me and he mentioned that CIC approved your application on 24th Feb and sent mail too. Since i didn't receive anything, Finally he raised a request to Ottawa team to send the mail/email. and it will take another two days to come. So .. I am waiting for mail now...

I am planning to write a mail to CIC regarding missing of my "Approved mail communication". This is just to keep a record for future reference. What do you guys say ? Do you guys know which mail id should i send it?

That's is with regards to the RPRF request only , I had the same line which is for the payment request

Just need ur timelines.!! i have the similar case.!! my wife added me on oct 2015 and she applied on 22nd Oct 2014..!!! RPRF paid on 7th march...no reply post that.!! She is in canada.!! and i am in india

How can I where people are already getting PPRs. Call centre guys have no proper answers.

Why you didn't upfront medical ? don't waste extra time , you should to do now to save some weeks.

Bcoz, my Attorney asked me to wait till get medical request. Also, I want to make sure by actually getting medical request rather seeing "Medical Received" on my Ecas. I dont know what is going and why is it taking so long! :'(
