Guys I am oct 10th 2014 applicant
I have heard absolutely nothing from Immigration.
I only have 3 line on my online status.

File received: Oct 10th
Aor : Feb 12th
Correspondence: Feb 12th

Can you please advice me something. I have been keeping patience with Immigration but now i am just losing it all. Absolutely nothing from them at all, when i see my fellow applicants are getting PPR and all that shit.

I'm really worried now. We have done our medicals upfront last year and everything was updated I'm Ecas. But we have received no requests or anything from cic at all.

Medical results received.

That's all our Ecas says. I just don't understand why we wouldn't have been given an rcmp request or any kind of request from them. When our mp got back to us, they said that the due date was April 4 meaning tomorrow but we have heard nothing.

upfront medical will help you. I saw some October applicants received their PPRs due to the upfront medical.

I am contemplating whether or not to pay the RPRF or wait till I get a request for the same. Any thoughts?

Pay upfront and send them email too..!!!! this can help in accelerating the process.


I paid RPRF on 5th march and yet to get any mail also.....Anyone got any acknowledgement of the mail for RPRF?

I am contemplating whether or not to pay the RPRF or wait till I get a request for the same. Any thoughts?

Update on my case :
Application received 9th October 2014 being in Canada.
Got AOR on 12th February 2015.
Upfront Medical has been done on 28th March 2016.
Upfront RPRF paid on 28th March 2016.
Medical results has been received in ECAS 1.April.2016.
RPRF receipt n.o login in ECAS 1.April.2016.

Another line added to ECAS. They have asked or RCMP on that date.

2.We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on February 12, 2015.
3.We started processing your application on February 12, 2015.
4.We sent you correspondence on March 16, 2016. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Thanks but It hasn't helped so far, we don't have a correspondence line or anything, they haven't asked us for a thing! Im getting so frustrated I just don't understand it!

they requested me to do the medical in early Feb, after that no news

See I wouldn't mind that, at least you know they have looked at you. Looking back might not have been the best idea to do everything upfront because you just don't know if they have looked at you at all! Ah well, wait continues, hope you hear something soon.

Please go ahead with the upfront Medical and once done please pay the RPRF. It seems they are working on the completed steps basis. So as much steps you do, that fast your application will get processed. In my case Medical done in 14th March and got PPR within 30th March.

When you did the medical ? Did you see any update in ECAS ? If not yet then follow up with the Medical Center where you did the medical and also with CIC.

Just called CIC... the agent looked at my application and said that the documents I sent by email on March 14th are still not in my file... And I received a confirmation from them that they received the documents... This is so frustrating ???

Inquiry about paying upfront RPRF fee

Hello everybody,

I want to pay the RPRF fee upfront since I haven't received any request (hoping this will fasten up my process even a little bit). I called CIC today and they told me they are waiting on security. I am inquiring about how to pay the fees upfront. Do I pay the fees online and send the receipt to CPCO-Cost-recovery.CTDO-Recouvrement-frais@cic.gc.ca and CC it to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca with my application info.

Please correct me if I am wrong or if I am missing some steps.
