I had my MR on June 29th, and the same day my additional documents request (T4, NoA and CPP from Israel). I only sent my NoA last week as I had to sue my former employer...

My application is in French, and I know another guy (French speaker too, apparently) from October had more or less the same timeline and got his PR a few months ago.

Hi Marmath,

it was me. i'm October (2014) applicant. i did my MR and paid my RPRF on early July. my application has been approved on July 21st. i went to Rainbow bridge at Niagara Falls for my permanent residency activation. I received my permanent residency card last October.

Hey Friends,

do you think it will help if we do our medicals upfront, it helps to process our applications faster?
How about paying RRPF upfront? is it worth it?

how many from CEC who were still waiting, applied for express entry and are successful? any idea

Thanks.

If I applied under the previous Canadian Experience Class caps (before January 1, 2015), will you still process my application, or should I re-apply under the new Express Entry system?

It depends on when we got your application:

- If it was before January 1, 2015, we will assess it against the eligibility requirements and caps in effect at that time.

Once we assess your application, we will process it if:

- it is complete,
- you meet the eligibility requirements, and
- there is still room in the cap.

If we got your application before January 1, 2015 and sent it back to you because it was incomplete, overcap, or refused it because you were not found eligible, you may wish to assess your qualifications to see if you are eligible to be entered into the Express Entry pool.

It is case to start the processing, our case they already started processing... (we will process it if) in status 'We started processing your application" is already added.
We already discussed about this in last thread. So this has no valid.
Only if CIC announces anything new rule, then we have implication, because they already kept HOLD on our applications.

THANK YOU!
:)

but I was wondering if they will check the "current " annual CAP since a lot of other processes (EE) have been approved before us (old CEC system) .

I signed.

Some ray of hope due to one of Aug applicant who spoke with the Call Centre agent and they had mentioned his application will be processed and finalized by 05 Feb 2016 (application submitted on Aug 05)..

So stay tuned guys..

How many people of October applicants have done the up-front medical check?
Have you got the information from CIC or e-cas?

Hi - i am an 02 Oct 14 applicant. I just spoke to the Call Centre agent. She mentioned that overall processing time has been extended and we should have a closure in the month of Mar 2016.

I had few questions post which she verified my application and came back saying that all looks good and a decision should be made on my application by end of Feb or before.

Another August applicant mentioned the CIC agent said his application must be completed by Feb-5. I think that is consistent with what you heard. thanks for sharing

Good morning guys!

After paying the RPRF upfront 2 weeks ago and sending the lasts documents they asked for a few months ago, I think I'm ready to order my first GCMS notes... I'm actually very scared to do so, but I also want to know where my application is...

Could anyone explain me all the steps to do so? I know it's been posted on the forum before but I can't find it... I'm currently in Canada.

Thanks a lot!
