Dear,

Thank you for writing to the Liberal Party of Canada and sharing your situation with us. We appreciate the chance to hear from you.

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide assistance involving your immigration case. Instead, we urge you to contact your local Member of Parliament (MP) or Citizenship and Immigration Canada directly.

Your local MP’s constituency office provides non-partisan services for Canadians interacting with Federal Government institutions. You can find your local MP here: http://www.parl.gc.ca/Parlinfo/Compilations/HouseofCommons/MemberByPostalCode.aspx?Menu=HOC

The online help portal and contact information for Citizenship and Immigration Canada can be found here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/index.asp

Liberals believe that reuniting families is an essential aspect of successful immigration to Canada and key to attracting the best and the brightest. It also provides new immigrants with added supports, like family involvement in childcare. Please be assured the Liberal Party of Canada will continue to address this important issue.

We are currently in a transition period, and some of the information on the parl.gc.ca website may not be posted. Please have patients while the information is updated.

Thank you again for writing.

Kind regards,

Volunteer

I have a quick question: when you send them additional documents (required by them a few months ago) by email, do you know how long it usually takes them to add them to your application? Is there a risk that they ask for more documents after that?

If you send additional documents via email then it will be quickly updated in a week or so.

If you are sending by courier then it is taking atleast 3 to 4 weeks to add to your application.

Hello guys!

I am planning to apply under EE now. Just want to have your thoughts that is this a good idea? Does that effects my old CEC application? Should I just wait or should I o and apply?

Please advise.

Regards

I have seen people got EE PR approved while having both EE and CEC in process simultaneously.. so i do not see a reason why you may have an issue.. by all means go ahead.. a friend of mine got EE CEC within 10 weeks last month..

I will pay it next year just to see any change in my GCMS report.
;D

Hi,

I just checked the tracker, apparently there is not any activity on our cases since June-July. I am not sure if it is fine to wait and watch.

Anyone knows if it is wise to apply for EE and keep the old CEC?

Shall I withdraw my October CEC application?

Thanks,

Thanks,

i wouldn't advice withdrawing your existing application. you have waited almost 13 months.. means your file is at least under process even though its taking ages.. if you want to put in another application i've heard you can do it but i have many friends who couldn't meet the points requirement and waiting for the overall points to come down so they can get an invitation so it could be a gamble.. i suggest before making such a decision go see a lawyer and get some consultation on what you should do.. they normally take around 150-300 bucks..

Great, thanks a lot! Hopefully they will do that soon... And hopefully they won't ask for anything more... I'm going back to France for the holidays, and I am dreaming that I'll get RP before then and just have it finalized when I come back... That would be a great Christmas present!

Buddy,

What I have heard (And I may be wrong) that you cannot apply for TRV based on BOWP from outside Canada...One of the condition for BOWP is that you should be in Canada for getting the BOWP.....So if you leave Canada before you BOWP is approved...I am not sure if it would work....
Again as I said that I am not 100% sure and I was in the same situation...I chose to stay back and get the BOWP....I applied in Nov/2015

but if its open work permit ....than there shouldn't be problem ...oh my god this _uck_rs are not processing our file fast and are allowing to leave this country ..
