Hello,

I am applying for BOWP.
Does anyone have format for ITINERARY? I do not have any travel dates.

I am so confused with this. I am in Canada since last 4 years.

They also ask how long you planning to stay. what should I put?
1) more then 6 month
2) less then 6 month
3) permanently

Thanks,

what i did is, i wrote on a paper that i came almost three years ago and i didnt traveled out of canada since than!

Hi Guys,

I submitted BOWP and OWP for my spouse application yesterday. In terms of spouse's application, in the explanation letter, should I attach my AOR and WP as well? I didn't because I thought they will be processed together. My explanation letter included AOR and WP. For my wife's explanation letter, I only attached a cover letter, bank statements from both of us, letter of employment and photos proving our relationship.

Are these sufficient and will it be a problem since I didnt include my AOR and WP in my wife's letter of explanation?

Thanks,
Ray

I didn't include my AOR in my BOWP application and both myself and my husband were approved. I didn't even have a cover letter for my husband - just mine.

I don't think you needed to attach bank statements, letter of employment and photos though. Did it request you to do so? Hopefully the letter of employment doesn't confuse them into thinking you are applying for a closed permit.

Thanks Joolery. It only asks the travel documents and letter of explanation. We have applied for SWOP this January, which we included all those documents. That is why I am a little concerned that they might need more supporting documents to proof our relationship.

Hi everyone,

I received CIC's reply on adding my spouse to the CEC application.

A few questions that I am unclear of:
- spouse's four recent photos (CIC said documents other than police certificates can be sent with scanned copy through email, what about photos? Should I take them and scan them, or I can mail photos to them?)
- spouse's police certificates - spouse studied in USA for 2 years, so we need FBI clearance. But the processing time is 12 weeks or more. Is it too long for CIC? Will it be a problem that we send it after 3 months? Is there a deadline for submitting this?

Any fellow applicant or seniors with similar experience please share your insights.

Thanks!

Anyone?

For point no 1 : Send them digital photo, scanned copy of photo's are not preferred.

For point no 2 : explain them why you can't provide right now, normally CIC asks to submit document within 60 days. Please wait for seniors for point no2.

Thank Kota. I guess the only option for #2 is to inform CIC about the situation and attach the receipt from FBI.

Hello Everyone,

I got RCMP request on 30th March 2015. I did the fingerprinting on 02nd April 2015.

I requested for RCMP to be mailed directly to CIC. Is there any way i can find the status of the RCMP? Can i call or email RCMP about the status?

Hi

My application was received on 3rd Oct. I havent got RCMP request yet. Also, I have taken PCC from India for my wife and me and yet to send.

Should I send our PCC directly to CIC or wait for RCMP request and then send India PCC and RCMP together?
