Yes my friend, what happened was a very tragic situation. the only option you have right now is try EE. The cutoff has been reduced in the last draw, so if you manage to score about 400 points don't lose hope.

It's interesting to know that some Feb EE applicant are already getting passport request after one month they submitted while it took us almost 5 months to get AOR alone...

I think I seen that post you're talking about. I think this was one person just writing false information.

if it is actually true, then it's pretty sad how it's going to take us over a year to get PR while it took EE people 6 months

I read the post on another forum and the post pasted the email from CIC stating ready for visa. It looks authentic to me. It is only less than 2 months.

I am just worrying this will further delay our applications.

that's pretty messed up, we have so much waiting to do

oh well, we waited all this time, what's left isn't that much. Let's hope for the best
