Hi guys I just called cic they have no official confirmation that the cap has been reached. He just advised me to wait. He put me on hold and confirm with other agents then he said there is no information at all.

Isn't it enough for you that people get their applications back together with the official letter.
CIC helpline is useless regarding any information so why all keep calling them. Each call different answer.
CEC is over!!!! wait for your application back if it was received after Oct 20.
I am not happy too but what we can do. Keep saying that the cap hasn't been reached is just stupid.

There is enough evidence that it has been reach!!!

Guys just calm down.
Be patient and get your docs ready for EE and at the same time wait till the EE draw takes place.

Fighting ova here wont help anyone.

;) :)

Hi Everyone

So our application was received on October 9th.

What I wanted to let everyone know is that just because you get charged it doesn't mean anything, you can be charged and still be refused, it doesn't mean they are going to process your application. I know that everyone seems to be clinging onto the fact that if they are charged they will get residency but im not sure if that will be the case. I know this sounds pessimistic and hopefully I am wrong but I just wanted to share that might not be the case.

Sorry where are you getting the basis of this assumption ? can you send us a link ?

last I cheked every one is welcome to add info they receive. Smart money is on EE profile and running parallel applications. Yes people are getting back aplications but looking at it mostly Noc B there are abundance of A and 0 and to date I yet to see one returned. No one has a answer hence its called a discussion. Saying people are stupid is rude if u give up go ahead there are many people with perseverance. At some stage we all will get answered good or bad till then I'm interested in all opinions from all members of this group. Keep the faith buddy but be prepared for EE

It clearly says "Your application was received after the max of 8000 complete CEC application was reached"

If you get CC charged DOES NOT mean that you get residency, as there are other factors like background/medical etc. at later point. Question is, if you get charged does it mean that you WILL get AOR ? It sounds stupid in this age, if CIC keeps charging people not knowing whether cap is reached OR not.

Generally, atleast the first page of the letter will be on CIC letter head. I have seen this for my work-permit processing. The letter shown in the picture looks like a printout fired and scanned.

OK Folks - Cap has been reached and life needs to go on - I suggest get your EE profiles setup.

I got answer back from my MP and he told me I am going to get my application back soon if I haven't received it yet
