I Am not sure how CIC is working. There are people whose CC/BD are not encashed , but those applications are received before 16th of October. Are we missing any updates from the members. I know that we are in new year mood, please can fellow folks update about their fee encashment, so that it will be help for others as well to keep track.

It seems CIC has restructured their website.

I couldn't able to find the web page where it shows the number of applications accepted out of 8000 cap.
My application was recieved at CIO on 3rd November, It seems many of the folks here who's application was recieved on Oct 16th got charged.

But now, How to find the the number of applications accepted by CIC??? :-[

Hey guys I am not on the tracking sheet but just to let you know that the bank draft for my application received by CIC on October 10th was cashed on December 31st.

Just called the bank for my bank draft, it is not cashed yet, my file was received the 10th of october

Hi..Do not worry!! coz if there is a cap reached before Dec 31st, they might have updated the website with a note. So this means that the cap is not reached (in terms of number of applications received) and the second point is that if they are charging the credit cards means they have to issue the AORs for those who charged without the final outcome of the process. So this means the cap of number of AORs issued is not reached. I strongly believe that the cap of 8000 applications were not even reached by CIC and forget about the returned applications.

So keep the hopes high and hope for the best in the New year!!!

Really ? I am calling the bank where my bank draft was made, I am not calling the central service. You mean I should even bother to call the branch that made the draft ??

is there a way we can check if a certified cheque has been charged??

August 2014 Applicant here. Yes. I sent my application with the certified cheque as well. I just went to my bank and asked them if the cheque has been cashed and they were able to tell.

Now that some of us on here who have applied in Oct 2014 have their credit cards charged or their money orders encashed by CIC, I just wanted to know what this means ?

I do realize this might have been asked a million times on other groups, but I just wanted to know if it means - "Your application is complete and reviewed by CIC , and so they have charged your CC/MO whatever it is to issue you an AOR" and they would ask for more documents if need be ?
