My NOC code is 2171.
I applied from Montreal and my Country of origin is India.

Hi,
your application will be the same as a single job application. You just need to provide two different employment letters (if you worked for two different companies).

Hi,

I have question about my application, I am planning to apply in November. I have two questions:

First, I will complete my one year experience on Nov 4th 2014. I took Vacation for 4 weeks during this one year experience and went back home. I am in Saskatchewan, we get 3 weeks paid vacation. Can I still apply by mid November?

Second, I am currently working for Xerox selling Photocopiers, my NOC code is 6221. On Sep 30th Our Xerox Agent Owner sold agency back to Xerox and I am transferred working for Xerox as temporary employee till they find new agent owner. I did not had any breaks in my employment. I am told that we will get new owner by November starting. How can I make CEC application more easier to understand for CEC officer about this transition? What should I include in my reference letters?

Any help and advice is appreciated.

1) Taking vacations is normal..Every employee is given 2-3 weeks of paid holidays by employer...In you case, paid vacation is 3 weeks and you took 4 weeks..So, i advise you to apply one week after you officially finish one year (just to be on safe side)...

2) Temporary or permanent employee doesn't matter...many people work on contract and apply for CEC...You do not need to include anything in your reference letter..Just try to make reference letter as per cic checklist...Rather you can include an explanation letter along with your application explaining the situation...As long as you are legally employed, have proper reference letter, have the proof that you were paid (pay stubs)...you are perfectly fine...

My passport expires on 29th November 2014. And I have already applied for new passport. Its been 3 weeks now.
Hopefully I will be getting my new passport in another week's time.
I applied to CIC with my current passport information.
When can I update my new passport information at CIC ?
And how should I update ?

Please let me know.It will be veru helpful.

Buddy,

You can only wait till your file i saccepted by CIO for completeness and you get the AOR and once you get the AOR email, it will have instructions on how you can communicate with CIC. Normally for documents that do not require orgininals, you can send them an email quoting your details like Name, DoB, File/UCI number and they would attach the information to your file....

But wait till you get the AOR which I believe you be around 2nd Dec....

Also I noticed that your passport expires in Nov which is before you get the AOR....I would have attached an explanation note saying that I would/have applied for the renewal of the passport....

Bot sure who the admin is....but I have changed the formula for tentative AOR days to include 78 days rather than 55 days as I noticed in the July sheet, its taking more than 75 days to get the AOR.....

Question -
My work permit had expired on 25th Aug 2014, and before that my employer had applied for work permit extension.
My employer gave me a reference letter with jobs and responsibities too on 15th Sept .
I used it to show that I have work experience from End of Aug 2013 to end of Aug 2014 i.e. one year.

My work permit extension has arrived now this week.

Is it ok that I applied for PR when my work permit had expired?
