just got feedback from courier, they accidentally put my parcel shipment on ground, even though they charged me for air rate. Saying package is already in the trailer, no one can do anything to change it back. so expected delivery date Oct. 14. Oh, purolator is driving me crazy.

The reference letter should have jobs and responsibilities listed. That is a very important part of CEC...Did you attach any other letter which has your jobs and responsibilities?
I mean is there any letter on Company's letterhead which lists your jobs and responsibilities?

Well, my intention is not to scare you...but to be honest..this is the most important document...if they dont know ur jobs and responsibilities, how will they come to know ur NOC code....Visa officer assess the NOC code based on the jobs and responsibilities....

Sometimes, people dont have the reference letter from the employer...so they try to write jobs and responsibilities on a plain paper and give the explaination that there employer did not issue the reference letter...But in ur case, you did not provide the jobs and responsibilities at all....

I dont know if sending this letter at this stage will help you...However, you can try sending the refererence letter with the explanation that you mistakenly missed it...

This is just my opinion....Seniors please advise and guide please...

Best Case(s):
- They return the application as incomplete. You then have a chance to send a complete application
- They send an AoR and accept the application. It's now easier to send additional docs as they can trace your docs based on the Application#

Worst Case:
- They send an AoR then after x months you will be rejected on your application if you do not send anything or they do not consider what you sent.

Remember that the Checklist describes what should be on the Reference Letter, so strictly speaking it was an incomplete application in form and in substance.

Judging by the July/August spreadsheet CIC is currently giving AOR's to the applicants who applied in the end of July/beginning of August.

Hello All,

My application received on 2nd October 2014.
My passport expires on 29th November 2014. And I have already applied for new passport. Its been 2 and half weeks now.
Hopefully I will be getting my new passport in another 2 weeks time.
I applied to CIC with my current passport information.
When can I update my new passport information at CIC ?
And how should I update ?

Please let me know.
