Hi,

I applied for PR under CEC back in 2014, and received the rejection letter last April (April 2015). The rejection email said. (I quote)
"Following an examination of your application, I am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of the Act and Regulations for the reasons explained above. I am therefore refusing your application."

Then just an hour ago, I received an email from CIC, which is not a spam. The sender id has been saved on my safe list..
Anyway, this RPRF letter says (I quote):

This is in reference to your application for a permanent resident visa, which has been found eligible in the Class for which it was submitted. Admissibility review (security, criminality and/or medical) is still ongoing; you will be contacted if additional information is required for that purpose.

Do you think the CIC made a mistake? I've called them several times already but the line is busy, as usual.

Any advice would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Does that mean that only people's applications who are eligible received rprf? I had my medical request about 6 months ago... I am really confused regarding when we should stop worrying about having our app refused

As far as I know, an application can be refused at any stage of the process. You can stop worrying only after you landed as a PR...

Why do you'll question why we all got RPRF request. why can you'll just be happy that this process is coming to an end. SMT so negative

Its not that, course we are happy! I think its more because people who already have PR got it too so everyone is concerned that it might not mean anything that's all!
