Applied on Oct 14 and CIC received application on Oct 16....just updated my details on the spreadsheet. It shows that the AOR date is Jan 02, 2015! Will I still make it towards the 8000 cap? Really scared!

will it take more than 2.5 months to receive AOR ?

I am so much worried as I have my work permit expiring in January. I can apply for BOWP only after receiving AOR.

How soon can I receive my BOWP after I apply as per current processing time ? is it 1 month as it was earlier ?

The wait is killing..!!

The current time for getting AOR is 70+ days.

I hope every body in this thread should receive AOR as early as possible. Just a confusion, by mistake if are not able to receive AOR by Dec 31st 2014, will we still valid under current CEC process are we will fall under Express Entry ? Can somebody comment on this.

Yes Ofcourse , Once CEC received the application before DEC 2014 and within 8000 applications , all those applications comes under CEC

Thanks PR4CAN , this clears my doubt. So all will fall under CEC and not under Express Entry though our AOR is delayed beyond December

I have got my new passport.
My old pasport will be expiring on Nov 28th, 2014.

I had submitted my application with old passport details.

Do I have to send an email to CEC with new passport details ??
or Do I need to wait until I get my AOR ??

Can someone suggest on this.
