CEC number of attempts

Thanks SmithCanada. I have applied for PR under CEC twice in last 3 yrs. Once i applied i was shorts of months and this time got rejected because i missed 2 documents. So I am planning to do it again.

Did you try submitting the missing documents and request for re-consideration? In anycase, before you submit the application this time, get someone you trust to go over it with you and ensure everything is in order.
 
Hi SenoritaBella, yes i did email asking them to re-consider my case and told them i can send those 2 missing docs. They have rejected my app just for 2 missing docs. I wish they can lil flexible in this as this will save time and money for us. It took 5 months and i am very disappointed with this.

The worst part was that i got email couple of days ago asking me to do medical and i booked my medical and then yesterday i got another email saying my app has been rejected because i was missing 2 docs and dont do medical :(
 
Attach the missing documents in an email and send to them with your request to please re-consider and then mail the originals(if applicable).

Also, could you please provide some more info about your time being short. How short was it??

I missed PCC and one letter from my current employer showing my roles however i provided them that i am working with the company with my work title. is it normal that app gets verified by 2 different officer or its just me got unlucky this time. I have those docs and i can provide them, i think i will appeal them to re-consider my app??

Hey Vinny, sorry to piss you off at this time but are you sure they included PCC as a missed document? I can understand the employer's letter not there being a rejection issue but.........PCC????? and, they didnt email you asking you to submit the PCC or something like that? Hmmmmmmmmmm.......

The only reason I am surprised is because the checklist clearly indicates that you can send PCC later and even in OP 25 it doesnt state a PCC to be a rejection criterion. Now, the letter is a different story altogether.

I was just curious.
 
Applications can be rejected for compliance reasons(see the OP25 manual) - that is, not following the rules.You may appeal but to succeed you have to show that the officer made a mistake. I'm just not sure that this is the officer's mistake.

Hey guys, ya it was due to PCC. I provided my current employment letter but i think they were not happy with that. They needed more detailed one which my company don't provide. I will appeal now, lets see what will happen :(
 
Hey Vinny, Have you tried contacting a lawyer to talk on issue. I have heard that lawyers would be quite helpful in these kinds of incidents. ???
