Guys, I just caught a ghost update in my GC portal. Nothing changed though. This is my 2nd GU after 30th of Jan GU. Hope for PVO Ottawa and SVO Sydney gang!! *fingers crossed*

Edit: just realized my background check went back to "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information." It previously said it was in progress

I think you can expect the portal email in the next few days. If you call them, they will tell you the status.
I had 2 GU in 24 hours and received the portal email the day after. The final GU seems to have no change or update in your account. Good luck! You are close!!

Yea, very true. Same thing happened to me as well. GU on Feb 15th and 16th and then approval on Feb 17th. Multiple GUs in a short time seem to be a good sign. I was PVO Ottawa and SVO Sydney too like OP, though approvals came from Etobicoke

I always enjoy your posts buddy. I hope we all get our portal emails soon. Your username has "Impatient" in it and you changed your flag to UK flag so that you get your portal email soon because someone from UK got their portal email. Lol. I don't know you personally but I wish you the best. I know we are all stressed with work and PR stuff but your posts always give me a chuckle.

I used my old medical, and the first time I checked the tracker on Jan 30, the medical was already completed, but then on Feb 24 I had a GU regarding my medical in CIC portal and instead of "we don't need your exam" now I have "You completed your medical exam on Feb 24th". Nothing changed in the tracker though. What about your BG and Eligibility?

Eligibility is passed. I only have medical and security pending.
