Nothing for me AOR nov 28.. called on friday and still on same status; eligibility Recommended passed and security not started. And file transferred to Edmonton due to workload at Ottawa. So seems like have to wait till end of month.

i called CIC last week ,, the agent said your eligibility recommended pass ,and security check is not started yet ,, my completion date is showing 13 may 2019 on website but agent said: your application will take longer processing time than 13 may so please dont call before 13 june for further updates ,,,
please advise if anybody have such experience before ,,, thanks

I think it is normal depending which VO has your application.

so , you think they can approve my file before may 13 coz i thinking the call centre guys dont have exact info they just read our gcms notes

I mean maybe your file is in one of those offices that are overloaded with so many applications, even Ottawa office had to transfer some files to other offices. Background check will take longer if you have extensive travel history or where you come from. In my case, my 6 months will end on May 14th and they gave May 19th last time I called.
