CEC Media Story - Are you still waiting?

Thanks so much to everyone who contacted me.

In order to tell the story effectively I need someone from Vancouver (or nearby) who is willing to go on camera and tell their story. Without someone's story all we have is dates and timelines - people need to know how this is affecting applicants personally.. Can't get the job you want, can't get a home loan, might be forced to leave Canada etc etc.. They need to hear this from you and not me.

Hey Megan,

I understand your call for stories in terms of storytelling in the report. And we do suffer from all kinds of issues caused by the delay. But we are not asking CIC for their sympathy by telling them our moving stories because of the poor job they have been doing. We are asking for justice and law which everyone deserves in a democratic country, with or without the personal difficulties caused by the issue. I really wish that CBC could approach the subject and make it an investigation type of report instead of just life stories. If it's just about life difficulties, many refugees will have more touching stories than most of us.

Interviewees may still be needed in the process of course.

But its also very important to have atleast one live experience in order to support the issue..

Please somebody in Vancouver or BC goooo..!! as early as possible..!!

Cant you come to toronto Megan?? as part of your job assignment and then you can have access to "a lot" of the stories..!!

Megan has clearly mentioned that early August or August applicants should send her an email. I would probably do but I am an October applicant and not in BC. I would request you to please help her and come forward. Your effort might help us ( September and October applicants). I have been suffering a lot and waiting in home country to come back to Canada with PR. I am just waiting for August September applicants to get PR asap so that October applicants get soon too. This is not easy but even If there is even 0.01% chance that Megan`s approach will change things and we get PR on time then why not to take initiative? :'(

I really think it is the right timing to tell those story since the election is on its way now. Come on, go and talk to Megan, it will help for sure.

She is asking for someone in BC to come forward and tell their story on camera, I would love to tell my story but guess what I'm not in BC or Canada for that matter... Surely there are CEC applicants pre August 2014 there.
