Yeah its so unfair. I feel you. I am sorry that you and your husband have to go through this.

I lost my job in Nov to a layoff and now no one will hire me because I have a limited work permit. I want to go for an MBA but cant as I am not eligible for an education loan. So much stress and its going to get worse. I am on 10+ months and I thought that I was bad but 12 months is worse.

The worst part is that no MP no online notes nothing works. Agents dont help you. There is no way to appeal or get them to look into our file before they decide to.

I have traveled to many countries and I am afraid that once it comes to security clearance this will drag even further.
the MPs don't do anything! they give you the same status which is shown online.. I think there should be a difference in everything.. at least give some additional info.. but no..

the freaking BF dates on your account is a trap to delay processing nothing else.. I think we are the only ones waiting since May.. all others are celebrating their PPRs :(

Lets hang in there buddy. Lets stay strong. It will eventually come. I was rejected in 5 months the first time I applied on a stupid reason. They didnt request any additional documents and just rejected me on shitty grounds. The documents were missing the structure in which they had asked the experience letters from my past employers. I could've easily provided the new documentation within a week. I am also tempted to just withdraw my application and apply from India or USA. Or go with the Manitoba PNP. People are getting requests to submit applications within a week. Atleast I will have a valid work permit for long that way and hopefully get a job.

This delay in application process is ruining lives. They dont understand that.

I am a CEC inland May, 2018 AOR applicant. My application had been under S.S. since June, 2018 (Confirmed with CBSA notes).

I just recently got new sets of notes from IRCC, CBSA and CSIS. It seems CSIS had provided their recommendations as of January, 2019. How long it usually takes from CBSA > IRCC? I know that the longer part of the security screening is under CBSA but did they only starts working once they receive the report from CSIS or they started back in June, 2018?

Also, I had a past US visa rejection and they are doing an info sharing which is as "Ready to be Assessed" for last 11 months, any clue when this will be done or what this means? Is my application pending for USA not providing the info requested?

It is frustrating!

Interesting to know about your US visa rejection. I got a US visa rejection twice in the past and am wondering if that's also my case. Am also CEC inland AOR May 4th 2018...

I think it depends on the CBSA officer who is handling your file. I went into SS on 25th October, I received a Ghost Update 2 Days Ago. I called CIC and they told me Security Checks have been completed.

i don't think so visa rejection is the cause of delay.. they are just delaying case whatsoever

Hello and Good day,

How did you request the CSBA notes? And what is the status(How to know) where you are able to say that your applications had been under S.S. since June, 2018? Thanks in Advance.

The process for CBSA notes is similar to CIC GCMS notes.. The only difference is have to choose CBSA from the list where you choose CiC. There activities in CBSA notes are not redacted so it tells you when a request to CBSa was submitted for SS. Also they give you a screenshot of Cbsa case system in which you will see your case in progress or something. usually thats last page of the document.
