I was also getting ghost updates before, but if you read carefully, often those updates are not ghost. Sometimes they changed something which couldn't be noticed right away. Like I posted few days back. I thought I got ghost update but when read carefully I realized status of Medicals changed, even though I'm on IP2. Today same happened. I thought I got ghost update, but after reading I realized Medicals again changed to "Passed".

So not always updates we describing as ghost are the ghost updates. Changes are so small we don't notice.

Normally CIC send out ppr’s in batchs.. Sometimes after 2 or 3 weeks.. similarly people receive ghost updates on same day in batch. They didn’t send PPR in las week to any may app
Oh I see! Looking forward to it! Fingers crossed and all the best to all of us! :)

do you know if anybody got PPR without ghost update? I never received any ghost update whatsoever..

I have been following other timelines as well, on canadavisa.com, not a single PPR has been rolled out last week or this. It's not just us but others too, who got ghost updates, are hanging in there.
May be they are processing a really big batch this time or God knows what's on their mind!

However, I called CIC yesterday (was really fed up waiting). So, luckily my call went into the queue in the first attempt (yayyy!!!), and got connected to the agent in less than 40 mins (way better than what I expected). She was nice person, she asked some security questions (just a standard procedure) and was very polite in understanding my restlessness. I went on saying, about my AOR, my updates and my ghost updates and told her it's been a while and I would really appreciate if you could help me clarify where am I right now. So, she really nicely interrupted me and said those words I've been waiting for a while now "Congratulations, your PR has been approved. You don't have to worry about that at all. But I am also not sure when the PPR would be sent, as we don't have all the details."

Okay, so no doubt I am happy but now I have a BIG question that when will they send PPR, only because I have a trip planned early December and I would need my passport for that. I told her as well about this, she said you would have to tell them that you have this planned trip when you receive your PPR.

So I am 70% relieved but still confused about how this PPR and trip will work? Any suggestions?

Thanks!

OMG! that's really a good news :) usually the agents are dumb and do not confirm most of the info.. at least mines are! well good luck .

Once you receive the PPR, you can contact them back and let them know as they give you couple of days to be flexible. how many days is your trip?

I am going for 3 weeks. So I thought my return would be my "landing". If that works.

guess like you just need to wait for PPR.. and then follow up accordingly

yeah, that's what it is!
I really wish we all get it soon! It's been the 6th processing month of May AORs. 6 months is what they say the processing time is.

I noticed in some posts, they are contacting member of parliament and getting their updates or reason for delayed processing.
Anyone tried it?
