Ip2 means they are checking your eligibility, what makes you think it means they have already cleared it?

If you get refused for your work experience would this tend to happen pretty quickly? Does anyone have any stats at around which month most people who are unsuccessful get refused?
I got refused on basis of work experience in 3 and half months.

I re applied on May 25th and still waiting on everything

Just reading the first few words of your message gave me a heart attack lol.. good that you were talking about the past. I have the same concern, my status changed to IP2 right after medical. I didn't go to IP1 at all and I am not sure why? and the same question as above, do we have some data on rejection based on NOC codes after 5 months?

This is what I found
IP1: This will happen one or two days after your medical. Sometimes on the same day itself. BG status message in this stage will be “Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.”. CIC agents will do R10, criminality checks during this stage. Once they feel everything is good then they will change it to NA. These things will happen at CIO Office (Centralized Intake Office).

IP2: BG status message in this stage will be “We are processing your background check. we will send you a message if we need more information.“. Visa Officer starts reviewing or after reviewing all agents recommendations. On the same day, PPR request will be triggered if the applicant paid RPRF up front. These things will be done at CPC office.

thank you very much. guess then I am in IP2 since my BG check says its in process.

Does anyone know of any cases that were refused based on a low wage? It's my main concern right now but I don't really hear about it happening. And also what does the eligibility section say during IP2? They're doing my background check but still checking eligibility.

as long as it's reasonable. think this way, if you're a manager, but earning minimum wage, this will not make sense. VO will start to check your employment. However, let's say your title is analyst, your pay is 17$/hr, it happens in some small companies. VO will be fine with it

unfortunately I was a manager in a restaurant but was only getting paid a bartenders wage
There could be a risk, to be honest. But it will be more related to your employment, not your pay itself.

VO could question you on your wage. How come your wage is minimum but have a manager title? they may think you have a fake title but only doing a bartender work. The good news is, as long as your LOB or your employer could address this, you should be fine.
